Managed Services  

A Managed Service delegates the responsibility of managing and maintaining your IT systems to us. This can include your Avaya telephone system and network - equipment & infrastructure. A key benefit is that this is undertaken on a fixed-cost basis; you know exactly what you're required to pay. Where possible we'll provide this service on your existing hardware and software.

Where a future upgrade is required, we will build this into the contract. Fixed price menus can be offered for adding users and services - which helps establish the costs associated with your business growth.

Service level Agreements (SLA's) let you know exactly what levels of response and performance you can expect. These will typically be geared to dealing with 'business critical' systems as a priority, whilst providing an appropriate response for low-use low volume peripherals.

Managed Services do not necessarily have to run over your whole business. We welcome the opportunity to manage branch offices or specific services in this way. Managed Services extend to our hosted solutions - where we can provide a complete solution for your IT resources hosted at our data centre. A Managed Service can also be an effective way of creating the scope for your IT specialists to concentrate on core business systems & development - by 'ring fencing' what's important and delegating everything else to us.

Help Desk and permanent on-site technicians can comprise part of a Managed Service solution. Alternatively these can be provided from our engineering base. It's all about balancing cost, quality of service and reliability.

A Managed Service - where we manage and maintain your IT, is an excellent interim or introduction to a complete Outsourced IT solution. An Outsourced solution provides all the service levels of a Managed Service, for a fixed fee, with the difference that we purchase, install, own and maintain the equipment and some/all of the software required. We charge you a fixed regular fee. Outsourcing can release capital. It also absolves your business from the problems of IT obsolescence and upgrading.

Business Continuity can be combined with a Managed Service. Because we manage your systems, backup and users, our knowledge and facilities will typically enable us to provide this - with Disaster Recovery and Workplace Recovery seats at an extremely advantageous price.
